• The Altar of incense represents the prayer of the saints.
• It has a crown, which speaks of Kingship. Thus prayer brings the manifestation of a King.
• The altar is an altar. In other words, when we pray its considered a sacrifice before God.
• It is over laid in gold. Gold speaks of God’s glory – the very essence of his presence. Much power is given through prayer. If you want glory on your life, then pray.
• The altar is the highest, or tallest, altar in prayer. In other words, it is the greatest charge one can get from God.
• The altar had horns, which speaks of authority. The high priest would sprinkle blood upon these horns. Thus, Christ ever lives to make intercession for the saints. His bloos is always speaking. What is it speaking? Its speaking intercession. This is now the ministry of Christ as He sits on the throne in Heaven. He makes intercession for the saints. This is what we call the ministry of reconciliation.
