We go to God in pray for any and everything. But are we short-circuting our own prays by repeating the same supplication? It's as if you ask me to give you a ride to the picnic. I tell you yes on Tuesday. Do you have to ask me again on Wednesday? If you do ask me again, was it because you think I didn't hear you? Or because you didn't believe me when I said yes?
It's the same with God. We ask and ask and ask, the same thing daily. He must think we do not believe Him when he said yes the first time. Maybe He does count that as unbelief, or at least double-minded. Either way we hinder His ability to answer our request. Let me suggest asking, then thanking him everyday.
If you thank me for a ride to the picnic then I would have to assume you believed me when I told you I would take you.
